 Orana provides emergency and short-term accommodation to homeless and at-risk young people both male and female aged between 14 and 18 years. It operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Each resident is given a set of goals, with staff providing the necessary assistance and support to meet these. Six young people are accommodated at any one time with a maximum stay of 3 months, at the end of which most people will either be reunited with their families or have found more suitable permanent accommodation.  The Vineyard Mercy Centre is a Deductible Tax Recipient & a not-for-profit Charitable Institution. The organization operates under its bylaws and is accountable to a governing board. The Vineyard Mercy Centre has been born out of the life and work of the people of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Pine Rivers.
